Who's the half-wit dev who designed this weapon.... REALLY! Doesn't look half as cool as the concept art made it to appear and it pales in comparison both style, stat and proc wise versus the brigands....

As far where the raid epic starter begins I have some good ideas. Don't forget what was written in Jone's journal.

TBH I wouldn't say that. I'm not exactly starved for STR on my char and welcome the stamina more. Also, we get +1 melee crit over there which is nice. Since the proc cannot be modified the DoT ends up being more damage in most cases, especially for swashies when hurricane is figured in since procs don't updates as much on AoE mobs. The increase in transfer % is probably not as nice as the brigand's 20% haste.. but the proc rate is low and usually I have enough haste anyway. I am in the OT group and with CoB and an inquisitor who uses Fana a lot, haste isn't an issue really.

All and all the weapons are fairly well balanced. Also, it seems that most of the 1 handers in T8 are piercing, which makes it nice for offensive skills if you aren't being buffed by a guardian and/or templar. I'm thinking that I want to pair mine with Throatripper if we ever see it drop. 8 melee crit with those two weapons would be pretty crazy.

Get a good tank and two good healers than fill your other spots with DPS. Stack everyone in the corcer and just burn. I'm sure there are other ways to deal with adds, etc, but I used advanced warning when I saw the first set of adds activate and by the time that expired the mob was at 35% and dropping fast.

The key is having a tank that can take blows when the healers are stiffle/feared/thrown etc...

Here was my group setup for reference:
Me, Guard, Inquis, Warden, Illusionist, Assassin.

I was given advice to have mass AoE dps and that an enchanter wouldn't help much... both were untrue so I think that you can pretty much take any 5 people with you provided you have good tank, healing, and DPS.
