Yes, + piercing helps with auto attack, the cap is 520 iirc, anything after that really won't do much.

I gotta say wow,,, Either this got posted realy late or you have not played in like 2 years.. Cold Throw got nerfed back at lvl cap 60, so it could only be used with thrown weapons.. Read up on your updates man if you are just now coming back to the game, and if not and you have been here all along; try this, Uninstall EQ2, throw your install discs in the trash and go play wow.. if not refer back to update notes.
