i do str and agi to bottom, and sta 4 4 8 and int 4 1.

This way I can not die on big aoes, when other wimpy classes like mages die in one hit. I might spec out of sta line later on, but honestly the extra AA into INT line doesn't significantly change your overall zonewide dps.

If you are in a raid guild, just make sure you pick swipe and sailwind on str agi. If you aren't in a raid guild, i would drop swipe for int FD.

Palli, Templar/Warden/Defiler, Troub, Warlock, Conji/Necro/Assasin, Me

With the above grp setups, I have been parsing higher on Grp Instances ZW going with a Wis Spec..

Palli, Templar/Warden/Defiler, Dirge, Coercer/Illusionist, Conji/Necro/Sin,Me

With the directly above setup I have been Parsing Higher on Grp Instances ZW going with a DW spec.

This is very interesting to me because I have always seen the dirge being the biggest part of my DPS. So not being a raider or a numbers person can anyone tell me why the Troub would be the bard of choice for the WIZ line setup and the dirge is the best bard for the AGI setup? I know that each are really good buffers but I was always told that the dirge helps melee and the troub helps casters. Now it seems that it is the AA line you choose that makes the differences /shrug.

Guess i could have worded this a little better... what I was stating by the grp setups... is that depending on the grp setups depends on what i parse with each AA setup.. yes the bard helps in both aspecs wether it be a troub or dirge but... with DW the troub does not seem to give me the xtra push on DPS but however if atm I am wis specced i seem to do better. and vise versa with the dirge and DW.. overall i parse better with dirge/DW than a troub/wis but if no dirge avialable or atleast some DPS/Haste/DA mods of some sort, Wis seems to do better...

I have been tempted to go down the debuff line and abandon reach. There are a number of encounters that still frustrate my guild (such as Pawbuster). I don't know if debuffs would help that encounter, but we have more trouble with Pawbuster then with most T2 raidmobs. Debuff line more useful then reach?

Who are you talking to? If it's me, no the MT group is the typical 3 healers guard dirge coercer, or the typical 2 healers dirge coercer swash guard.

Anyone who gets coercer and dirge and illus to buff them has the most overpowered buffs in EQ2, and I envy them .

Could always 4-box and make a Dirge, Illusionist AND Coercer
