I've heard that to maximize auto attack that I shouldn't queue up skills. I started waiting to activate the CA's till I was sure they had finished casting and did notice an increase in my auto attack damage as a percentage of the whole.
How much delay should I give before activating the next CA?

I also use /target {insert_MA's_name} instead of /assist so I can follow his target and not have to hit the macro again.
This has been mentioned many times, but, if you are DWing 4.0s then usually you should fit in two CAs between autoattacks. There is a plugin you can download for ACT that can help you get used to the timing.

i cant exactly type what i do, but this is sorta it, i dont remember everything, usually just know what im doing at the time , not before.

and i dont use ACT to check when my auto attack hits, cause face it, if you're a swashy you fuckin know when that shit hits.. im like a bot, i dont need a *ding* to tell me when it lands. oh and dont queue up skills unless you know what your haste is etc depending on situation etc.... and it's not hard to know when an auto attack procs , i just watch the mobs head and know what to land when and where...

suxorz for me i only get 6-7k on the parse since im just a recruit for a raid guild , fatkid at times and no raid gear besides my Mythical / Lifespike.

also for those that 'Pause' for an auto attack, don't you're a fool... it may seem like spamming, but there is actually a 1/10ths of a second between when , i personally, click my CA and results in my auto attack, and yes i know when it hits, what it looks like and in raid i almost always get to use 2 CA then an auto attack, never pausing and still landing it... helps with the dps cause some ppl like to pause for a full second to see it land, which is a waste.

-raid casting order (everyone does it different and IMO, seems to get the same dps, so w/e)-

open trash mob - On Guard, Perfect Finesse, then open Auto Attack - Thieving Essence - Kidney Stab - Triple Blades (before Uncanny because, idk i see a lot of swashy do Uncanny b4 Triple, but DOH Triple reduces phys mit, every little bit helps.) - Auto Attack - Bedazzling Steel - Flashy Blades - Auto Attack - Uncanny Thrusts - Evasive Maneuvers - Auto attack - Heel Cut - Eye Poke thingy - Auto attack - Kidney Stab - Lung Bleed - Auto attack - WTP - Toporous Strike - Auto attack - Traumatic Swipe - Sack - Auto attack - Lucky Whirl - Bedazzling Steel - Auto attack - Boot Dagger - Stealthy Charge - Auto attack - Swathe - Auto attack .. blah blah i could go on, depends how long the mob lasts tbh.

now dont quote me too much on that spell order cause im randomly remembering in my head... so blarg if you cry and complain that i am a retard at times.

and on the temp buffs i use, i alternate the 2 i use.. like Ruthless + Inspire thing spell... w/e boats my float. open named mob - 3-4 temp buffs instead of just 2. and usually try to open with Lung Bleed and / or Traum Swipe on the AE call, to debuff properly on the safe side during these TSO raid named.

so yeahhhh idk if it helped but that's just my 2 cents and if anyone disagrees with what i do, good for you.

I have to agree i do that 2 ca auto attack method also , just seem to fit better !
I rather get a auto attack in over a ca though when i am out of the flow, so i will stop a sec let auto attack hit then go back to Ca.....
then again i only do around 7 to 9 k in raids peaking to 11k

i wish i could do 2 CA then auto over 3 CA then auto pre-CoB. i mean, when CoB is called, i know i do 2 CA then an auto.. but it's hard to get the proper haste self buffed, or at least group buffed to be able to do 2 CA then auto. but , meh.. doin better on parses now 7-9k.. the way ive seen it the Swashies who top parse over preds, they are good yes, but the preds need to learn to play because their right place is #1-2. if a swash does 12k parse. the sin / ranger better do 14k

oh and also , almost forgot.. on a raid, dont use /target macros.. even if you have to click /assist macro again, do it because it makes the healers life so much easier if they have to single target heal you, they can continue to dps the mob through you.

I've been tweeking my casting order and got it down just about perfect but i'm still only maxin at 3.5k or so, mind you my gear isnt exactly top notch, lol, I mean I just got my fabled epic and I only own a couple pieces of t1 shard armor(been savin shards for my guard) even still, can gear make that huge of a difference? I mean it's not exactly like i'm useing treasured, it's still decent rok gear, not fabled either but, well ya get the point, can gear make the diff between 3.5 and 7-12k?
