Ok I have a quick question. I have reciently ran into the prob that I cannot beat brigands in duels. I have started the fight with the relic that makes you immune to stun and my stone skin for 10 sec off the bottom of the sta line and I get owned. Their cry for mercy or what ever that ability is keeps me from targeting them. I also use totem of the owl and butterfly. just to make sure I can see them. any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

I am not new to dueling but with the way things have been since RoK came out I wanted to make sure I am not overlooking a skill. a trick or a tactic. My last fight I felt like I was 10 lvls below the guy and atm I think my gear is decient. not top end raiding but not treasured either.

make sure to set up a hot key to select nearest hostile PC spam that .. go buy some freedom of mind potions from a alchemist (makes you immune to stun/stifle or can buy faction items for the same effect) and play smart .. there is many ways to kill a brig with ease .. i know on a pvp server i never lost to one unless i had about 24 beer downed or was AFK .... Swash > Brig

And yes if you want to get fancy you can put in a sound trigger for ACT to pick up when they put on the nasty debuffs and have a cure trauma waiting

Actually in an equally geared and skilled fight it should be close but a brig should beat a swash 90% of the time. I know as a brig personally I never lost a onevone to a swash except popsi, and that was just because the detarget ring kills me.

Freedom of action pots, if they are close knock them back. KITE them with reach.

im pretty confident i or any half decent swashy could kill any brigand without doing anything special.

if its 1v1s were talking aobut then yeh ^ that applies.
