Just had a random thought tonight that I think would be particularly cool to see.

Say for instance you have like 3 or so set pieces from vp, there's no real motivation to get the rest right? ok well what if when you got the full set of VP set armor you gained an appearance customized to every individual class.

For the Swashbuckler class I'd like to see something like a jacket and armor underneath it that made us look more like our pirate forefathers.

Something just cool looking that was around what pirate's or classes that are supposed to be similar to them would look like.

The cool jacket with the high collar and jug of alcohol look I think fits well.

I think all classes should have a more class defining look. All plate, leather, chain and cloth wearers look the same...the only thing thats made a difference is the appearance slot. But even then, if you are curious to someones class, you have to inspect to see if they are a ranger, assassin or other scout class. If it wasn't for bards notes swirling around, they would look like all the other scouts.

EQ2 has been the only game i have played since it has come out, so i am not sure if the other MMO's have the same problem or not. But for such an advanced game engine, it sure is limited.

well i honestly think the artists at sony are rather lazy, you look at the vp sets and they are (with the exception of the class hats, which are just different colored versions of the hoo'loh hat and that's if you're lucky) exactly the same just dipped in a different color, and looking at my eof set in comparison rather shitty looking too.
if i had my way for a swashie i would have boots , similar to the ones used in the pirates of the carribean movies, knee high with a folded down cuff, black leather pants belted (preferably with a red sash tied with the knot at the hip)
a white shirt for the chest slot, with a deep v neck closed by laces or ties
fencing gloves of a black leather
and i would change the current pimp hat we currently have to either the type worn by pirate jones or something like the musketeer hats , a flat brim with a 90 degree fold at the feather
not that i expect to see this but it would be nice

What game is that from? Looks like poop eq2 zone design but obviously it's not eq2 cause characters aren't that creative.

I think ( 50% sure ) it's from the game called Granado Espada : Sword of the new world though. It looks like that games style neways.
