Hard Way? Developers of this title are candy asses who won't put size limits on weapons, armor, and the like, which was done in EQ1, and is a staple of D&D. Yet they will create horribly unequal racial abilities FOUR YEARS after the game comes out. Meaning my wood elf swashbuckler is at a DPS dissadvantage to almost any of the other races that can play a swashbuckler.

You are correct. Hit rates in some of VP go as low as 50 % on your autoattack. If you have checked ACT on avatars, you will find that a raid buffed swashbuckler has a weapon hit rate of approximately 35-40 % and with a traumatic swipe hit rate of roughly 50 %. This makes swashbuckler semi useless against these mobs. /cry

When I'm on avatar adds duty, however, my hit rates jump up to a whopping 50 %.

I gotta say i like my Human traits too... Deplomacy for Grping +Bayles Strike and a Temp STR buff.. Yeah I would like to have the crit buff sometimes but eh i am too dissapointed with being a human lol..

All i really have to say about the issue is they should have opened up a race change option when redoing those Racial trait changes. Back at launch racial traits weren't really the first thing on everyones mind... And now they seem to be quite significant. IE Dark Elf has 30 second temp buff that increases like all melee skills... damn I knew I should have rolled a drow and just betrayed.

I kinda like my kerra buff, 900 physical mitigation debuff that I can keep on a mob 100% of the time, that also does like 600 damage.

Can't say that I am unhappy with Half Elf, physical mit debuff and decent damage as well. Shame they didn't make nice racial traits to appeal to all core classes (fighter,scout,mage,healer). At least that way, no fuss no muss as each race can bring something to your class choice.

TBH i love my Half-elf.
Not only does he look cool, he has a racial trait that does about 1k damage, with a 1k physical mit. debuff, as well as a 3 min. STR buff, and a 1 hate spot unaggro.

Not to mention the tiny bit of crit. and run speed i get..

I hate you all. LOL. I'm a high elf and I get stuck with a crap spell that only does like 300 or something last time I checked... And it's a SPELL not a CA. bleh!
