This one is incorrect. You only use 69 points in that tree if you use that AA spec. It should be 8 - 8 - 4 - 8 - 1 (2 actually).

i have gone for opion B aa spec but, my health seems to drain very quickly in fights. any ideas on increaseing my health?

theres not a ton you can do, make sure you chose the 2.5% increases while leveling for character traits, also try sta food/drink or hp food/drink. and look for gear with higher sta values and hp values, i wouldnt sacrifice much dps for them, but you may find a balance of it all to your liking.

Very nice thread, thank you for putting this together! You might want to include under the CA section that Swarthy Disorder is a level 64 Master II choice...I bought that master for my 59 swash then realized that he could Master II it /sigh.

I'm new to the forums, and posted a "help, I'm having DPS issues" over on the combat forums which, hopefully the moderators have closed, now that I was directed over here...

I was GOING to repost that post here, but I think I have enough new things to try based on this post that I don't need to do that.

I am curious though about the WIS (Fencer) AA line... i was told by a raid swash back when I was ... 50 or so? that the WIS line was the higher-DPS AA line to use. Now I'm reading that this is false... was there controversy over this? Did something change with regards to this AA line over the past year or so?

I built my AA with STR and WIS mostly.. oh well, re-specs are cheap.

WIS line WAS the best line to go down in the KOS era.

Back before the duel wield weapon revamp. And back before we got massive da boosts from items.

In anticipation of next update I specced the following way, just to play around... Currently raid specced, but I am also considering dicking around with a group spec as well.

I never solo, but if I was soloing and I was decked out in shit gear I would definitely micro manage a solo spec as shown below.

Raid Spec: str46482, agi 46482, int 4458
Benefits: Large Crit, Traumatic Swipe(our signature skill), Pirate Stab, Sail Wind, Evasiveness and Thieve's Prowess. I lost 800+ hps from speccing out of the STA 448 line for ROK raiding. I still have 11.2k hps, so I am good.

Group Spec: str 4448, agi 46482, int 44682
Benefits: All of the benefits above minus TSwipe, and Adding FD. In PUGs FD saves you large repair bills. That and your hate generation is adequately mitigated. TSwipe is fucking useless in groups. You lose very little if any dps.

Solo Spec: str 4486, agi 41, sta 448, wis 44882
Benefits: Blackguard's Defense, Big Crit, Walk the Plank to get those rear attacks in. Conditioning, can't have enough hps when soloing. Lunge Reversal(extra damage), Freehand Reversal(increases DA and riposte chance), Unencumbrance(greater chance to do another attack) and Coule(combat skill increase).
Don't need to be flanking to do the majority of your damage, but you rely more on Auto Attack, which is alright for soloing.
