Default Int Gear

Okay, I just wanted to get the low down on this b/c I haven't really seen anything substantial.

I was told that by equiping gear specificlly for boosting your int an enormous amount before you apply your poisons then switching back to your normal raid gear then you will see an increase in the effectivness of your poisons. Because they go by what your int is at the time. Is this true?

Default Re: Int Gear

well, my old assassin told me that always too but i can tell u why she thought that...

u equip high int ---> u see now poison does more damage ---> u put poison on ---> still the high poison

but now

u go down to low poison and u get a bug, display bug i call it --> poison looks still high BUT go to a mob and hit it in ss to see what your poison is doing, relog and u see ---> shit it only does the damage when my int is up.

now wait, put illu in your group - take int potion and your int gear out and dream with your friend about 1,5k poison

Unless its changed, poison will always do the int check when it procs, not when you apply it. So swapping in int gear is kinda pointless when you apply it.
