What was good about palace trash? All it shows is how well you can push buttons on mobs that don't have anything intricate about them. It was never a reflection of player skill. Anyone can parse well on trash mobs that have no aoe's, control affects, debuffs etc. Not too mention once palace trash became the rage people started waiting between pulls to inflate their numbers and such. Various named parses are a better judge of skill in my opinion anyhow.

There's only one way to pull palace trash. That's why it's really the only relevent comparison you can make to a similar player in another guild on another server.

Why? Because every guild does shit differently when it comes to killing the real mobs. I could ask my raid leader to let the MT tank the entire Flame encounter and post a 20k parse, but that doesn't mean i'm twice as good as the rest of us who do 10k, does it? It just means we pulled it like maniacs.

well if you have a healer dedicated on you on the control bs etc encounters it isnt hard to parse either

Next XP they should make it to where the casters have to move 10ms to cast spells every 20 secs, just to be fair to all the scouts that have to joust the AE's
