hi all,
my main is a freshly leveled 80 swashie. i really dont know where i am at as a swashbuckler so i thought i would jump head on into a group full of others who might know more then me. i normally pars around 3.5 k in a group cause the mobs don't last as long and i have all the fun buffs. however, by myself against the training wall i average around 3k. it seems kinda low to me and i just wanted to know where i stand

my spec
STR 8-8-4-8-1
AGI 4-8-4-8-1
INT 4-8
debuff line
style line

i use two weps both with a 4.0 delay and am in all master crafed armor but in much better then master crafted jewls. all at least adp3.

what can i do to improve myself?

Unlike the others, I will give you the generic AA spec for RoK Swash's.
STR 4-8-4-8-2
AGI 4-8-4-8-2
STA 4-4-8
INT 4-1

Some like to change around the STA and INT lines but that is the one I use.. Swash Tree should be..

Poisons - Reach - Style <--- All Maxed out..

MC Armor is good, but hit up some instances and get some better gear and you will see a Dramatic improvement. For non Raid Weapons, Go with your Epic Weapon and Carotidcutter. And check out the Gear Sticky Thread to check out instance gear in RoK available for us.

Wait, yall saying me maxxing my WIS and INT trees and putting a teeny bit into STA isn't the best way for me to do decent DPS?

hey guys update for me,

now from what i hear. my auto attack is supposed to be about half my damage but if you look at the slash/pierce its only about 30% is this normal for a swashie? friend said he didn't think swashies normally got to the 50% mark but hes a ranger so i thought i should check in with the other swashies.

Can you post the damage/breakdown section of the parse? Also from looking at your Eq2players profile, 30% is about right with the gear/weapons your using.

Your auto attack should be around or close to 50%, but with those weapons its going to be lower. Run CoA everyday til you get carotidcutter and work on that epic. One of the RoK collections gives a bracelet with 2 crit too so you can get rid of that mastercrafted one.
