Hello, ive red the swashbuckling 101, and a lot of other forums. My main was a swash for almost 2years, havent played him for about 4months, started playing him again and cant break 2.5k at all in guild grps (1healers, bez, chanter, ranger, ass usually). wondering if anyone could help me a little on how to get it hire. oh btw i only do pick up raids on this guy as my main is now a coercer for my guild.

my usual casting order is like this:
Sack > Triple Baldes > Uncanny Thrusts > Swipe/Strike macro > WTP > Bootdagger/Stealthy Charge macro > Master strike if available > HO/Trickery/Bedazzling Steel macro > Disarm > Bound > Baffle > Velium Throw > Flashy Strike > Blame Blade > Eye Point > Heel Cut > Lung Bleed > Kidney Stab > Lcuky Whirl > Swathe

in grp mob i let the AoEs first then do normal. i always cast En Garde/Inspire macrod when they are up and same the Ruthless and the other on macros.

my AA's are Str/Agi/Int (8boot Dagger)

my gear: EverQuest II Players

any advice would be helpful!

Your joking about your casting order right? if your not i suggest casting your CA's in alphabetical order you should net about 50% more dps then your current order.

Just read your skills. Cast debuffs before your bigger ca's. What class is bez? And if your chanter is an illy I'm assuming you're not getting ia, you should parse 2500 with that gear and ia with auto attack alone.

When starting the combat...
RAID: Avoidance+hate buffs on tank > Offensive(DPS) > Mitigation
GROUP: Avoidance+hate buffs on tank > Mitigation > Offensive(DPS)

Avoidance + hate debuffs = Stealthy Charge > Trickery(WIS and DEFENSE) > Sack(AGI) > Eye Point(PARRY) > Blame Blade(HATE BUFF ON TANK for 10 secs) > Baffle(Detaunt)
Offensive(DPS) = Lung Bleed(Slashing/Crushing/Piercing DEBUFF) > Bedazzling Steel(DPS DEBUFF) > Flashy Strike(INT DEBUFF)
Mitigation = Guile(MIT DEBUFF) > Whirl of Blades(MIT DEBUFF) > Our magic mit root(MAGIC MIT DEBUFF) > STR AA(CA CASTING/RECOVERY TIME) > etc etc...

The above orders are just my opinion but in raids you kinda want to keep the tank alive in the initial part of the fight by debuffing the mobs ability to pwn him. Then you make him easier to damage.
In a group, the tank only has his groupmates to worry about and you only care about getting the mob down as quick as possible since the tank SHOULD be able to handle incoming damage for the time it takes for you to debuff offensive.

A few more hints:
Do not cast long CAs when temp buffs are triggered.
Do not burn at the beginning, wait until your debuffs are in before you burn(by using your temp buffs).

I come between 1st and 3rd on the parse in my current raid force.
