If a swashy has to choose between two items with similar stats, but one has +4 melee crit / +50 combat art damage and the other one +5 melee crit, which one should i go for ?

btw, are there confirmed "formula's" concerning dps, tested in kunzar (wall^^) for terms of 1 min and longer?

like:

+1 crit on item = +1% crit in fight = 100 DPS

+1 DA on item = + xy % DA in fight = xyz DPS

+ 50 CA DMG = xyz DPS

Well, you can't just say that 1% MC is X or Y DPS. You have to calculate each parse for itself. I might be wrong, though.

If you want to do it, check Ranger forum for the formulas etc.

EDIT:

Okey, I calculated how much DPS I gained from 1% DA and 1% MC. I used the parse that I posted in 'Parse thread'.

1% DA = 22 DPS
1% MC = 28 DPS
+50 CA = 38 DPS

However, MC is lower than it actually is. I didn't use Pirate Stab, Interuppt and Counterattack (they crit on MC) in the calculation.
I don't have them in the calculation because I am not sure if they have the same ratio as CA damage.
