Aeralik: The swashbuckler hate transfer is changing as part of GU51 so that part of the epic will need to change. We can evaluate the rest of it but there are no guarantees of any changes. Look for a description of the changes in the GU51 Test notes next month though.

If its just switching the mythical/fabled so that the xfer is constant and the dot becomes a DD, then I'm not nervous... however, SOE is in charge so I imagine that it will get fucked up somewhere along the way.

I would be happy with the hate xfer being "when equiped" and not a proc and also changing the DoT to a DD... should be that simple.

If you actually Read what Aeralik said, i would expect our hate transfer benefit on the Mythical to be removed entirely, and replaced with something like a percent increase to something on a proc chance like the assassin's epic. With all the new Hate changes that are incoming for tanks, i would expect our primary roll of Hate transfering will be deminished signifigantly, giving us the role of DPS and debuff, which basicly means if a raid needs dps scout dmg, they will take an assasin or ranger, or if they need debuffs, they will take a brigand. I personally took alot of pride in my ability to keep enough hate on the tank to help him hold the agro, without getting myself killed in the process.

I love how he completely ignored the second part of the question, which is to fix the fact its a DoT, and does far less dmg then the other scout epic procs over the coarse of a fight.

Will see what they come up with, but based on past "changes", its hard for me to be smiling about anything that has to do with a Dev talking about a Swashbuckler.

Our epic is being changed because threat for fighters is being completely revamped, thus changing our threat transfer roll.
