Re: Swash DPS Slacking with new TSO AA's?
his post needs to be deleted. Rippitt made the most direct and clear point, we are TOP notch DPS and always will be. Its the palyer not the class. Enchanted where nevevr supposed to be winning parses but with the right setup they can, just like any other fucking class. So who cares how they change our debuffs or get rid of our hate transfer. Pound for pound we will fuck up any encounter more then any other class whether it be an aoe fight or a raw snigle arget burn. This upcoming change isnt anything to fret over. Just some way to fuck up swashbuckelrs from a *certain* devs view. so wtf, do your duties and kill shit

Don't even know if that's English ...
Anyway, to make my point MORE clear ...
So far in TSO, I see a huge increase in DPS for other classes through their new AA's. I'm simply trying to say that our AA's are pretty sub-par in terms of increasing our overall dps, compared to others. Since that's what we're supposed to be, dps.

You need to be able to adapt more. Our DPS is far more CA-based than it has been in the last 3 expansions as well.

Re: Swash DPS Slacking with new TSO AA's?
Also considering what I have been hearing with regards to part of our utility being taken away from us, I expect to see a boost in dps either from our refurbished mythical or from tweaked AAs.
Also about lolling at our debuffs. I make the Nex fight a little more manageable when put on there. So they aren't completely useless. Granted I have remained on Nex since the first time we beat her, so I don't know how it would be now tbh heh.
Either way our DPS will increase across the board post LU52 as far as I am concerned.... hoping for.... no.... pleading for. lol.

It's not a problem of adapting. Your obviously completely missing the entire point I'm trying to make.

what up superbad, lng time no see, heard you playing a swashy. tbh i am still topping parse or coming close behind the predators, i think it is just the fact of your aa setups and or combos within the swashy its self nothing to do with the class or the aa being subpar....

Re: Swash DPS Slacking with new TSO AA's?
Most of the flames in this post are people stating that he sucks as though he sucked before. If you read the post he states he is still pretty close to the top of the parse.
What he is actually stating is that other classes went up double the damage increase on parses that we did.
for example since it needs to be said.
even if you are still top of the parse because you were so far ahead and you went up another 2k dps. Why did other classes go up 4 k dps?
If you weren't top of the parse before, they jumped out ahead and are now whippin ass where the increase of dps is negligable.
I will say that overall raid dps went up a ton though and the gaps in some cases because of this has increased as it would do mathmatically.

Re: Swash DPS Slacking with new TSO AA's?
I'm happy for a lot of other classes tbh. Pallies, guardians, etc parsing 7k+ consistently, and jumping up even higher on half the fights....
It was very much needed tbh. They don't beat me, but they come close, and I'd prefer that over them sucking in the dps department because it helps us kill shit faster.

Nah man, I'm still topping the parse or coming behind the preds myself depending on the encounter, nada to do with my aa setup and or combo heh. It definitely has something to do with the class atm and hopefully I think we're gonna get a bit more of a boost with the coming threat changes.
