It "died" for all of the min-maxers that only care about doing moar and moar DPS. It never became not viable.

Never tried it on either brig or swash. I have been lucky with getting good offhanders. In a raiding scenario, it also never really seemed viable, what with the stats lost from not equipping offhand.

Should replace DA with flurry in the wis tree, might make it interesting. Would fit too, what with the fencing n all.. Atm though, wis is probably the most useless of our rogue lines, that says alot.

Sta has hp til gear catches up and int has bootdagger.. Wis has umm nothing worth spending points in imo.

Alright, I'd just like an explanation of how 8% uncontested parry/riposte is "not good at all" for soloing.

And really, at the very least it's better than the int line. The int line is useless.

For soloing, you don't need Tramatic swipe, so you only really need 4-4-4-8 in STR. Avast ye is pretty much wasted, so you don't really need anything passed Walk the Plank unless you're going for Sailwind. So, where else would you put your points if you were soloing?

Wisdom line is no longer the best route. I suppose if you like to rolepay or something, then yeah... it's the new zorro or some shit. But as far as destroying mobs, getting the most from your character, dual wield by far and away. There is a reason we all went DW the second that change went live 2 years ago.

cause the 8% avoidance you gain doesnt matter when it takes you that much longer to kill the mob, you will be attacked more and have a more chances of being hit. besides spend the other points in the other 2 trees.

Sorry, but no. Unless you have significant double attack self buffed, the difference between WIS spec and dual wielding in terms of DPS is negligible. Especially with solo mobs. Long term, sure the difference in DPS is greater and greater, but short term, it doesn't really matter.

Also, part of leveling/soloing is upgrading weapons, with the WIS line you only need to upgrade 1 weapon, which saves money.

Lvling with two weapons= upping pierce/slash at the same time. As far as dualwielding and not having enough double atk.. Trooper boots and dauntless bp= proccing 22% da.

Just drop it, wis was good until the dualwield patch. That's how it is.

Just disregard any of the info the people that play this monkey shit out of this class are telling you then. It would be different if you had a single high end player saying "yes, keep that shitty ass spec", but you wont find one.
