Post 51: Is Bravado worth even having on your buff bar anymore?

It is easy to get haste above 200% these days on raids, and haste is a rather crappy buff in EQ2. With the 5% hate increase to the Bravado line, is it really worth buffing it while raiding?

You won't be getting over 200% if you don't have an illy or troub in your group. But that does raise an interesting point in regards to useless buffs. In a group with dirge and illy, we are most likely capped on DPS/Haste mod, so that renders Perfect Finesse and Ruthless Cunning utterly useless. I suggest changing them to something like the assassin's temp buffs of +poison dmg or increase reuse speed of CA's for 30 sec or something just to make them useable. But I do realize that not all swashies are capped on dps/haste mod in raids so really it's no biggie. just an observation

Tbh, I really don't think that hate is going to be a big problem. With the changes they are making to so many spells/ca's, I think that everyone is just kind of worried.

Its going to be really easy to drop ur hate anyway, bravado will not really affect much.

Actually, procing 5 % increased hate gain is a big deal. It may actually affect your aggro a little bit. I would say if group with illus, take it off, and if grouped without illus, keep it on for trying to cap your haste.

....Although if you keep it on with no aggro probs, then ur good, I guess, but they should change it heh.

Well tbh man, why is it there anyway? Ya know, srsly, when you rolled a swash were you thinking to make a tank? Anyone?

Its kind of stupid. But, I guess this question will have to be tested before I can answer then lol.

GDI, leave our buffs alone. nothing needs to get changed. Loo what happened to our mythic wehn people whined abhout that. deal with the hjate change and buck up.

When I am sitting at over 300% haste grouped with an illy and troub, yeah I would like more melee crit. I could care less about the myth proc as long as it is changed from a dot as it currently exists. The whole discussion of blue vs green AE I could care less about.

Just don't touch my hate transfer.

What the fuck raid group could you be in to give you ~160 haste?

What fucking raid leader would put you there?

There's times in raid when my MT templar likes to get out a 2h to beat on mobs. How fucked am I if we pull a trash mob that dies in 15 seconds and bravado doesn't proc for 5 seconds or our dirges happen to make a mistake?

Haste should really be your largest focus as a melee class anyway (lucky for us). If you sit at 140 instead of 200 and your weapon delay goes up 10%, you say to yourself, 'hey no big deal it's just 10% less auto damage' - but there's really alot more to it than that. With lag these days are you really going to be able to change your ca timing when your delay goes from 2.4 to 2.8? If that's the case it's not just your weapon damage that took a hit.
