Swash raid %

Hi all, just a few quick questions. i hear all about these uber swashys doin like 13-14k zw parses and such. what are their guilds parsing to get these high parses? basically what im looking for is, what % of dps should we be in a raid...right now i usually sit at around 10% am i way off or what?

You're above normal tbh.

Highest parser I have seen so far zw is Cexi at ~14k, and her guild does 210k zws.

Yes the higher the rw parse, the higher your parse. It's fucked up how that works. But in no means should you be at 10% rw, because that means your raiders need to wake up.

I believe that a good to hit rate + dmg proc items the key is for uber dps...
I don't see a uber swash with a to hit rate of ~80% and without dmg procs...
My to hit rate changes between 70 % and 95 %...why? I believe also that a swashi need permanent avoidance debuffs for uber dps...

Actually, there is a lot more that goes into high zonewides than just raidwide dps and hit rates and procs. The is part of the deal, but don't forget gear, group buffs (big one), timing, casting order skills, and BALLZ.

I actually am between 12 and 15 % of my raid's dps on zonewides even on single target stuff, which is retarded IMO.

Id say 10-13% of RW dps is about the norm.

Cexi's 14k zw was with 200 k raidwide zw, thus on that zonewide palace run he was actually 7 % of the raid's dps. Which that doesn't knock him at all, just it's easier with that badass of a raidforce.

I wouldn't say 10-13% is average, though. I'm above average, but part of it is because we have too many healers in raid, we don't have a brigand atm, and because there is slacking going on.

In a group with no buffs that made any dent in my parse I was parsing 7.5k average.

In a group with buffs(BC, Imp to name a few) I parse 11k on single encounters if I dont mess up and I get good use out of my temp buffs. Otherwise its 9k - 10k, which happens frequently.

Still getting there. But yes, group buffs are the straw that breaks the camels back.

tbh you are doing well at 10% the rest of your raid force is fucken slacking, tell them they suck to pick up the slack! you need all your dps around 5 to 8 % 10 mean to many are not doing shit for your raid and waisting that spot!
