Ok, I recently betrayed my brig to a swashie (very newbie swashie) and I have been doing reading on swashbuckler aas. The Rogue tree, I'm pretty fine on, but where I'm having questions is on the swash tree. Many posts indicate reach as a viable line for a swash, but It seems to me that most of those posts are from a pve aspect. Since The endline ability doesn't work in PVP, is there even any point in specing down that line at all for a PVPer?

I play on nagafen with my swashbuckler as main level 80, reach currently disables in PVP meaning the first combat art you cast will have over 10 meter range and then it disables, i personally DO NOT use this spec just for one combat art. Although i have heard of some using it with walk the plank for a 20 meter root. The EOF tree as a whole has nothing of great use in pvp besides the end in potency for poison proc and whirl of blades mitigation increase, and the extra trigger chance in your avoid stance+quicker cast temp buffs.

And no I have zero points in any of the reach aa's but you could make it work and not pick up advance warning or the debuff lines to get the first CA you cast a longer range. In short you won't see many gains from the debuff line due to a scout vs scout or scout vs mage fight usually lasting 15-25seconds, and the extra hit rates and range on blue aoes are not worth it to me.
