Speaking of ACT, something is borked with my system and I can't ever get the plugin to work (thank you Vista, I'm guessing). So I've been using custom triggers to try get the same effect (I'm guessing the plugin is essentially just a set of custom triggers), but somehow I'm missing dings. I've got "YOU hit" and "YOU miss" and then added "YOU double" but I'm still missing something, as I'm not always getting dings.

Here are the triggers you want:

^YOU hit (.+) for (.+) (slashing|crushing|piercing) damage.
^YOU critically hit (.+) for (.+) (slashing|crushing|piercing) damage.
^YOU try to (crush|slash|pierce) (.+), but (.+) (ripostes|parries|deflects|blocks) (.+).
^YOU try to (crush|slash|pierce) (.+), but miss.
^YOU (critically hit|hit) (.+) but fail to inflict any damage.

as a swashbuckler, you'd think you wouldn't have to use ACT to TIME your auto attacks... i dont use ACT and i still manage 48-50% auto attack... learn to play better

How do I use those lines, I have a problem with ACT when I use the DA ding adon, I cant parse the grp dps /shrug.

You go to triggers/sounds and cut and paste each one into a separate custom trigger.

second. I have yet to get this stigma of people bragging about how they dont need the ding..I mean really who cares long as the end result = more dps. Thats all that matters am I right?
