Swash vs Brig PVP
I have a level 30 Brig, and i'm going to exile him over to the Q side. Wondering if I should make him a SWASH instead of a brig for PVP. He's an alt, and I enjoy playing scouts in PVP. I've ran into a couple of SWASHIES that kick my bruisers ass pretty fast if they get the jump on me. Do you think SWASH can keep up with brigs in PVP?(brigs can chain stun, etc, pretty deadly PVP class)
Which class has the edge in your opinion?
appreciate any feedback on this

Re: Swash vs Brig PVP
equal gear and skill brig should win, but its close. swash is easier, brig is more fun and rewarding.
i played swash/brig for 2 years in pvp

Re: Swash vs Brig PVP
Brigands in pvp = fighting someone who cant fight back generally for 4seconds while your hitting them for 1.5k+ with auto attacks in mediocre gear. Ypu'll also have a advantage against any healer or crusader since brigands taunt spell dispells pretty much everything.
Swash in pvp not much different aside from not having a stun that is over 3seconds or 2 root Ca's.
swashbuckler taunt can also dispell naturewalk, nullmail, focused castings, freedom of mind pots, steadfast.. etc so its still a good spell too.
the best thing about group pvp is hurricane and even in raid pvp with huge lag your still gonna be hitting auto attack and it does go off a lot.

Re: Swash vs Brig PVP
So basically
Brig = single target beatdown / advantage vs runners
Swash = Group PVP / taunt dispells
Sounds like brig has the advantage here in PVP. PVE I would imagine would come down to the area (swash great for group pulls, brig great for single target dps) ?

Re: Swash vs Brig PVP
In T8 PVP, Brigs have an upper hand on the jump..
Clock, Dispatched, Enfeeblement, Double-Up.. at this point, an equally geared Swash is most likely sitting around 25% Health and hasn't gotten a CA off yet. Not to mention any of the Crit mit, gear Proc, etc.

how do you go about dispelling steadfast? you mean you reset steadfast? steadfast isnt a buff you put on yourself, just a static ability that is there once ur in place for 2 seconds.

Re: Swash vs Brig PVP
It will dispell the steadfast, and make the cleric need to stand still again to reapply it.
