I guess the part that bugs me the most is if an obvious item for a bard drops, I won't roll on it even though it says all scouts, and it's an upgrade for me. There's not a single item I can think of that I could use that a bard hasn't gone for.

That's why I like leader assigned loot (as long as it's done fairly). They remember who got what, who the item is better for (and if it's a situation where it's 200% better for a pred/rogue than a bard, they won't usually give it to them until the dps scouts that need it have gotten it), but they still give the bards some decent stuff that may not be as large of a gap in usage between classes... if you can get some good leader-assigned going on, it's nice.

Because every piece of loot that a bard has to roll on is either better suited going to a pred/rogue, or a mage. It's as simple as that, no other class has to fight for literally every drop like bards do.

Take AoNO for example back in eof t7, this axe CLEARLY gave + spell damage, ( besides the obvious nice max damage/damage spread it had ) yet bards were not even considered worthy of using it by 90% of the population. You always saw rogues with it for the 1h spec etc etc. Hell there was a thread started because a bard out bid a rogue on the Clearcutter right here on eq2flames not too long back.

It's situations like that where I can understand where bards are coming from.
