OK. So someone refresh my memory here. What does the swashy rep do again?

Post gear and quest lists for the rest of us? Or do they have the dev's ear like with EQ1 and thesafehouse?

I think its pointless and I am sure KS and Cexi would rather just fuckin raid that pick up the slack for the rest of us by telling us what weapons are good and what weapons are bad(which anyone here can do).

No offense to anyone, but just because you parse high doesn't mean that you would do a good job as mod (not that it's hard, but still). You should actually check the forum frequently and post, imo.

And anyone can do a Weapon or Armor thread, not just the mod.

i vote for no one..we are all very good at swashy..well cept for Venser so I say work to togther and just toss idea back and forth. I think one person would be to onesided...or rather lacking the complete knowlege of a swashy......think we have enough swashy on flames with enough knowlege so every one of us...should do are share ..heck we waiste time wirting this kind of crap when we could actually be doing somehting productive

Being the swash mod doesn't mean you're the oracle that everyone goes to for advice. From what I understand it really has very little to do with the class and they're just there to clean up any junk posts, sticky appropriate things etc...

While it's true that the majority of the responsibilities assigned to class moderators have little or nothing to do with the player's skill, they're supposed to represent the class as a whole. I'm sure that the vast majority of the swashbucklers on this forum are qualified enough to handle the simplistic task of stickying threads and gathering relevant data into a single post... however, there's only a select few players who have the power to command the respect of others.

Personally, I wouldn't mind taking the effort to polish up the outdated armor/weapon threads among other tasks
