Re: The Swashbuckler Raiding KoS AA Debate - Where do you stand, and why?
So now that i am str/agi build im wondering how to put in the points. Had sailwind once before and tbh didnt really like it.
str 7/4/6/8/2 and agi 6/4/4/8 i picked now, but im wondering since a lot of damage comes from autoattack if i should put another point into str. Anybody know when the diminishing curve starts ?

Re: The Swashbuckler Raiding KoS AA Debate - Where do you stand, and why?
aye you are true about that, but since my last build which str/int with extra points spend in INT and bootdagger, the poison damage hardly increased.
the couple of extra point i have available would give me maybe max 40 or 50 INT extra which does actually do jack for poison damage. Just gimme a fury :p

Why? There was a few reasons. One being that I personally like to tank and have yet to find anything I cannot tank (still haven't done any raid content but I say 80%+ I could do it tanking)

I went STR/AGI and do not have any problem tanking any instance in the game, including Unrest. While STA might be your thing I'm just here to point out that regardless what people say on here, and other classes telling me in game, you do NOT have to spec stamina to be a good tank

Nope, you do not have to have the STA line to be a good tank. It just makes some things easier. Many other thing rather then char, lvl, AA's etc makes tanks.
I was tanking way before AA were in the game and STA was not the first spec I chose.

Im using STR/WIS for myself.
WIS is for better dps, and less repairs :P
STR is for debuffs, that are very good for raid and BIG CRIT NUMBERS. And i just love big numbers :P
Though there is a swash and brin in my guild who use AGI/WIS and i see that most time they make better DPS, i still prefer STR.

Re: The Swashbuckler Raiding KoS AA Debate - Where do you stand, and why?
Not surprisingly, I am str/wis. One, becuase swipe is a big factor in raid dps, and also helps with power occasionally.(power taking AEs). Also, though, it sets me up for some items that would be better, such as the Respledant Robe of Battle which doubles your current crit mod( which im at 35% most of the time), making it 70%. Whereas, if i was AGI spc'd would make it around 40% crit even with robe proc, which is weak compared to 70%. The main reason is swipe, just something to think about in terms of future gear. Axe of natural order damage would also increase quite a bit as you will be critting most of the time..

Is that really how the robe works? It doubles your current crit rate?
By reading the description it sounds like it sets your crit rate to 100% for 5 seconds, so that you will crit every melee attack for 5 seconds.
I don't have one, so obviously I haven't been able to test it out or anything.
