The Swashbuckler Raiding KoS AA Debate - Where do you stand, and why?

There are three most common AA setups for raiding swashbucklers: STR/AGI, STR/WIS, and AGI/WIS.

Why did you choose the line you did? Is your decision based on DPS, weapons available, utility, or perhaps just because its more fun?

I'll start by saying I am str/wis, pretty much only because of traumatic swipe. I have used sailwind in the past, and boy I wish I still had that

I'm definately going to go with AGI/WIS. My guild already has rogues with T-Swipe so why spec it myself? AGI and STR is a big toss-up between the proc and crits. Think of that as you may, but ya can't compete with sailwind too

even w/other rogues in raid, STR/WIS is the way to go, Swipe gets resisted far to often so more ppl able to swipe, the better

I voted other because swashbucklers should be STA spec'd so they can tank Tactician's Armor more effectively.

STR/WIS for me for swipe and crits aswell. However depending on the weapon i'd consider going agi/wis if it helped sync auto attacks between CAs, and if i regularly had a dirge and/or templar for increased procs on Avast Ye (which i don't atm).

AGI/WIS. Already got 3 rogues in raid that have tramatic swipe. Found this combo to be max dps. Always have a raid setup to get avast ye to at least 24% proc rate. I seem to crit just as much as the other rogues in raid that have str line also.

For KoS AA I went down STR (4-4-7-8) and STA (4-8-4-8-1)

Why? There was a few reasons. One being that I personally like to tank and have yet to find anything I cannot tank (still haven't done any raid content but I say 80%+ I could do it tanking) That also falls under why I made a swashbuckler rather then what people call a 'real' tank and that is because a swashbuckler can do so much more and is so much more versatile then any tank could hope to be. I like having options open to me and this class fits perfectly. If the group needs a tank or DPS, I can do either or no problem and / or if the tank of the tank of the group sucks cause he can't play his class properly then I take over so neither myself or the group has to suffer because of their lack of skill and awareness on the game. Hell then even give us a few debuffs to mess around with.

Second is that I like to play a role in this game that seems to be useful and sometimes needed to beat content. Going the way I went did not my classes primary role as a debuffer.

Third reason is that it is nice to know that a character (Any character) can do beyond what people call the norm. It is amazing what any class can do if they go for it. Yes there are some limitations but there is plenty of choice and I have proved and will keep proving what all a Swashbuckler can do atleast on Neklutos when others say a swashbuckler can't do this that or another.

I for the most part know the ins and out of every role my class can do and have expanded and limited myself based on how I like to play. I have chosen to not take the chance to gain a bit of DPS with other pathes for the reasons above and the difference is minimal from everything I have personally seen and tested.

This way I have gained so many more things vs a bit of DPS when my true role is to debuff.

Yeah I voted for the wrong one but Agi/Wis ftw. Get a dirge with luck and watch Pirate Stab tear into mobs. Make up for Crit with gear and all is well.

AGI/WIS. I switched from STR/WIS about a month ago, and I have to admit I like it alot better. Losing TS sucks, but there are three other rogues in guild with it.

Also, I dont know if anyone else going from STR to AGI noticed this, but it seems I'm a little less dependent on group buffs. Maybe it's just me.
