Default Where do we stand now?

Hey guys, haven't played for a while and actually cancelled my account a couple weeks ago due to the whole Aelrick (sp?) mess with our myth combined with the fact that there's hardly ever anyone playing now (at least on Unrest.)

I was just wondering where we stand on that and what's the latest news? Does someone have a link to what's going on maybe?

I really miss EQ2 and haven't found another game out there that even comes close to it. It sucks that it feels like the game is going down the drain, just hoping for a ray of sunshine among the clouds.

The changes that were occurring to our myth when they were 'revamping' the hate issues has been completely scrapped and put aside for now. I do know that SOE has invited several people from the community to FanFaire Summit for a meeting with the developer's to hear a voice behind all the bullshit posts. I know I laid out a fair amount of items I want discussed dealing with our class for someone who is going. Hopefully some real issues will be addressed instead of wasting time on fluff.

Thanks Logix, hopefully they'll cut through some of the bs at that meeting and we'll finally get some good news.

If they fix our class I'd love to do some swashbuckling again.

my only thing about our class is probably the playability of our class. i have had other classes at 80 and played for large amounts of times etc etc... so the only thing i dislike about the Swash is that, once you learn everything about the class.. there really isn't much else you can do to improve. feels like, ok i know how to do EVERYTHING to tip top performance, only things im missing are - all the gear to be the uberest - masters - +CA , etc.etc... feels too easy IMO, need more of a challenge. BUT hey i aint complainin too much, i love playin the swash, great DPS (meh) , pretty flexible on situational fights. but yeah Swash is kick ass dont get me wrong, but seems too simply played out
