He's with the rest of the guys that sell shard gear. All he does is exchange soul lancer stuff for the fearless/dauntless equivalent.

It only goes one way. Hybrid stuff into fearless/dauntless. Mainly so you can convert soul lancer into t3 eventually, I guess..
