Help My Dps Increase

Hello All,

My characters name is Rolg on the Runnyeye server. I am a 80 Swash with Epic + Sebilite Croaking Dirk (No Myth).

I am trying to parse high on the Dps Charts but I have no clue on how to play this toon. I was originally a High Dps'ing Brigand, but I basically got paid to betray by a Raid guild that immediately died after I betrayed, and updated all my spells. Id really love to learn to play the Swash. I just want to know 2 things.

1. My CA que
2. How often should i Auto attack. And how long should i do it?

Little character Info:
Im Lvl 80 (obviously) AA140. I have my AA's set raid style in the rogue and swash tree so I am not worrying about that. I have AD3+ (or now known as Expert+) I have Advanced Warning, and Traumatic Swipe ( DUH! )

Please guys I really need some expert help! If u can help that wouyld be Awesome. And if u were to take a Screenie of your combat bars I would be even more thankful.

always auto attack, you have to time it so it goes off as soon as it is ready; if you don't you will lose a significant portion of your DPS

You basically need to figure out how many CA's you can safely get off in between each autoattack (without adding delay to your autoattack, that is)

So basically I NEVER miss 1 Auto attack. and during my 4 sec auto delay get off as much skills w/o missing the auto?

This

Auto attack is the majority of your DPS, The general rule is 2 combat arts per autoattack if you have any haste to speak of.

alof of times that depends on your isp and if youwould get constant lag spikes. But theres aa plugin for ACT
(not sure what it is, hever used it) that tiems your autoattack swings
And it will chirp when its time to change up

Download Profit UI, it has an auto attack meter if you don't want to listen to pings/dings/dong/bongs/or w/e you decide to use for ACT plug in. Set the meter right in the middle of your screen till you get a good flow of how often you can use CA's and not miss Autos.

I think a good indication of if your timing auto attacks correctly is checking your average delay, usually with max haste the max you can lower your auto attack is I believe 2.4 seconds, and my best zonewides in zones I usually see my auto attack delay between 2.5-2.7 seconds.

I have a few macro for flurry of blades and snap of the wrist, and I noticed that If i press this with my auto attack bar about half way full it will use one combat art, auto attack, and then use the next CA. But if you que a CA when the bar is about to be be full it won't do the auto attack and you are usually better off waiting.

I find the auto attack notification in ACT better then the auto attack bar.
