Weapon Combinations...

Hey All...

I'm looking for a main hand weapon i can use untill i get my Epic, are there any decent ones to use in the main hand? I used that green dagger from the Vaults & Maidens quest line on my Dirge, is that decent for the swashy too?

Also, Secondary slot weapons, what do you guys use? I saw the Seb Dirk was nice but there could be something i've missed

Sorry for the noobish questions, new toon i created a few days back and i've really taken too.. Just gotta get the best out of him now

well until you get your epic those are good options. you should knock out the Swords of Destiny timeline and get that soulfire sabre or w/e. Its still better then most current T8 nonfabled weapons anyhow and is easy to obtain, just tedious lol.

After that tho and you have your epic/mythic. see if you can join a PUR or something thru Shard of Hate for lifespike. or maybe a TomC run to get 1 of those offhands in there.

well i enjoy it realy, its still new so the hype is big... once i find out everyday will be the same it will get boring but since it got pvp endgame i wont be able to tell this early so i think the game will last for at least the next year without new content. the content it brings into the eu release is insane... its like eq2 would have been released with eof and everything before :D
the gameplay is fast right now, realy fast... so if u dont do the right things u end up dead soon... its a high penalty if u die in pve but also in pvp - still different, where u lose xp and money in pve and abyss points (sort of pvp ranking) when u die in pvp
its definitaly a group play style game, u can do alot with only 6 or 12 people if the others are bad... but u could also die because u thought it will be easy...

well yeah right now im switching from chanter to cleric so i will heal 95% of my time next year what ever took me to that i dont know

long story short: awesome gameplay feeling with the best EU/NA release in the last 5/6 years...

Use the Marrowgut Slicer from RE2 ...it's tradeable and usually cheap on the broker. Get the Double Eye Poker from there as well if you can get it to drop till you get the Carrotidcutter from CoA. Then go Carrotid in mainhand and Marrowgut or Double Eye Poker in offhand.

The "green weapon" (Anaphylaxis) is the most overrated piece of garbage. Well it WAS good till they nerfed the delay. Now it's just horrible and will lower your dps by a good margin versus the weapons mentioned above. No one listens though, and they keep using that junk. I would rather buy a Marrowgut's Slicer and Seb Dirk for cheap than use that trash.

Epic takes one day to complete if you can get a group of friends dedicated to it ...as long as you do all the upfront running in advance. Course by now, you probably already own it.
