Default Swashbucklers and Luck of the Dirge

I am curious about this buff that a dirge has as a choice in there EoF AA tree by the name of Luck of the Dirge and how useful it maybe for a swash.

What all does this buff increase as far as triggers? I know Blessing from the templar tree specifies Equiiped Items but this leave it open to affect everything.

Will it increase the trigger chance on this stuff?

Hurricane, Spurious Bravado, Procs on items from either attacking or being hit, Poison, Crit Chance potions, Crit chance increase from items, Will it improve on buffs from other group members on me like (Agitate, Tomb's Calm, Stoneskin(Templar and Dirge), reactive taunt on Guard / Zerker when being hit.

Is plus melee or spell crit considered a trigger?
How useful is this spell and what are its limits if any?

I know this has a lot to do with a dirge but I am mostly concerned on how it could affect my swash in raids

Correct me if I'm wrong someone but this is just observation. Its procs such as poison and imbued procs. I believe the AGI line rear attack "procs" are affected also.

Crits are increased by thier spell Don't Kill the Messanger. If your dirge doesn't have that up all the time kick him in the cahonas. The biggest increase you get is probably when the dirge cast Cacaphony of Blades, (COB). Its a temp haste buff with a nice proc. Its an ideal time fire off Inspiration and let your auto attack do some damage imho.

Hurricane and Spurious Bravado are not affected by Luck of the Dirge

Kron is exactly right. LotD with Potency spec is quite nice.

As well as, Pirate Stab is also modified.

Oh i know DKTM incraese crit chance but I was wondering if LotD increase by even more.

I wonder why it wouldn't effect Hurricane. It is a trigger chance is it not? Spurious Bravado, i could careless about. It is always on me while fighting.

That's a good question. I know LotD affects Percussion of the Stone Proc. I'll re-read both my swashy Hurricane while grouped with my Dirge and see whats up.

Luck of the dirge affects any proc whatsoever, be it from items or spells.

But no, it does not affect crit chance. Crits are not procs, they are just crits.

AE Auto-attack uses proc mechanics, but is technically not a proc, that is why it doesn't get affected.
