It's a risk I think an autoattack can easily do more damage. And yeah I always have a dirge and usually a templar too so I wear the league earring and planar orb.

Garanel's Mantle from Unrest also has a damage proc.
Wouldnt use it on a raid though. Does make for a nice cloak for solo or group tanking

Aye Garanel's Mantle is indeed nice for solo and group... problem is getting one since all the tanks want one when it drops. Man it can even be useful on raids if you get to tank zones like labs for a guild laugh. Would be fun to try.. now where was that Sta AA line again? Or we have dead locks all over the place... like it would make a difference
