Brigand Vs. Swash

Brigand:
AOE Avoid (arguably the most powerful buff in the game period)
Resistance Debuffs (no cap)
High single target DPS
Considered 'necessary' in most difficult raids

Swashbuckler:
AOE autoattack/dps
DPS Debuffs (easily capped without a swash's very short duration and 1 target debuff that misses a lot on orange mobs where it matters)
not necessary
Skill debuffs (crush/pierce/ministration/focus/etc) - useless where it matters

honestly who designed these classes?

Ok so as a mobs level and difficulty increases:
Resistance debuffs become incredibly useful/needed.
Aoe avoid becomes incredibly useful.
Skill debuffs become close to meaningless

swash dps debuff is arguably worthless in a raid with a mystic+defiler, and who would possibly need it in a heroic situation

I could and probably soon will write a much more detailed and critical explanation of the sitation, but anyone with a grain of intelligence can see how ludicrously imbalanced this is.

Go for a very deep game. For example, create only a few classes that are very distinct. This lets players know exactly what they’re dealing with without several layers of abstraction.

BG, but I was talking about his main on live both pve and pvp.

I also think he mainly played the rat swash in beta cuz he liked how it looked in relic armor :P

I could be wrong though, that happened once on a Tuesday in '82.

Lockeye does play a Brig, and is in Drow on Unrest as Locke I believe.

Sorry but bruisers are far superior to brigands and swashbucklers combined.

24% DPS BUFF!!! (Not like zerkers dont get a better buff at lvl 1 or anything)

Yeah its safe to say bruisers own all.
