What's going on!?

Is there any way to bypass the Launch Pad? I start up EQ2 normally and it gets right up to the patcher... and stops. It's been sitting at 'patcher initialising' for almost 40 minutes now. Having the same problem with ventrillo, click connect and it does its thing and then... nothing.

The only thing I can think of is that it's a problem with the net between Australia and the US... but I can do other things (like post here) which I believe are based in the US. Ideas anyone?

Found a way to bypass the launchpad... im thinking this could be a problem come patch day though

Sometimes it happens. Most often when some files become corrupted in your EQ2 directory. One complete solution is a full reinstall, but iirc you can also delete and redownload your patcher.

To bypass it, just use your Everquest2.exe file in your EQ2 folder.

... uh, no. I've had this problem many times in the past and it was never resolved until I did something about it.

For real, that sig doesn't even take up half the width of my screen. Plus, it's cool looking.
