For people that like a large assortment of smileys to use in posts, you're in luck.

Thanks to Niber, we now have a lot of different emoticons you can use in posts and messages on this site. Just click the "more" link next time you post a message to see the full assortment.



Also, several people have sent messages asking to donate Paypal for this site.

To the extent anyone WANTED to participate in site expenses and such, you can do so through the "Donate" link that's mixed in with the other links at the top of the Lava Fluid interface (the red/black one, not the blue one). You can access this interface through the pulldown menu for styles in the lower left hand corner of this page. There will never be popup or IGE ads on this site, I'm happy to pay myself to avoid that. Again, do not even think of donating if you can't afford it, there is zero obligation to do that, and it won't buy you any kind of special treatment. It's totally voluntary.

The EQ2Players.com dev tracker feature will now automatically update at the bottom of the first main page section every 10 minutes.

You can't start posts in that section, but you can reply to the posts there.

EQ2Flames Link Directory

This is linked as the second choice in the second section of this site from the top of the main page.

What this does is allow any user to enter any link in the appropriate section.

So please check this out and go enter your guild site web page in the Guild and Server links section now.

And then, enter any other links you want in the appropriate sections. It's ok if you make a mistake, we will edit the links and information for consistency.

Please, no pr0n links or anything else violating the Site Rules. We are going to keep a careful watch on this section while it gets started.

Our goal is to have the most complete set of EQ2 related links anywhere on the Internet.

If you have a special hobby or interest outside of EQ2, you can start your very own directory of non-EQ2 related links in the Everything Else section of that forum. If you have a serious hobby and want to spend the time and do something special with your own directory in that forum, please let me know, and I'll even give you mod rights to your own directory.

Thanks to our member Ody, users can now start special threads on this site, and especially in the server sections, and send me or Calthine a request for those posts to be stickied. After that, we will give you edit rights to your post, and you can update it whenever you want with any changes you want.

The purpose of providing edit rights to a single post is so users can create their own content and update it whenever they want. The first example of this type of changing, updated content is a thread in the Najena forum where the thread owner, Petspawn, can now update a list of what master spells are needed by whom on Najena.

There are many other applications involving lists that need to change when information changes. If you want to start and maintain such a list, please go ahead and start your post in the appropriate forum, then send me or Calthine a PM asking us to sticky that post and give you edit rights to it. Posts like that will be for information purposes, and not for flaming, but every other type of post on this forum can still be used for flaming or whatever.

Big kudos go to Ody for doing this, I was told by other tech people it wasn't possible.

By the way, this site now has the technical support staff and capabilities of a major, high traffic Internet board, and I think that's pretty amazing. We certainly now have more customizations, features, and capabilities than most. Thanks to everyone for the support and for using this site.
