I just got a new pc today, and dl'd profit ui and the profit updater. The profit updater is saying "Everquest2.exe not found! Please set your Everquest II directory in "settings, filepaths" first!"

Ok, well in profit updater i went to Settings > Filepaths and selected Everquest 2 and it's still not working. Something im missing here?

Urgh.. you're doing better than me. I bought a new Vista desktop PC and have been trying to transfer my game files all bloody night! (7.30am here now grr)

Also, another problem, it's saying that Launchpad needs to be run as administrator....how do i get around this? I can't even load the launchpad..../sigh Vista blows

Turn off UAC or just right click and choose "Run as Admin"

I did the right click and run as admin, it still said the launchpad couldn't launch. Tho, if i click cancel instead of ok, it loads the launchpad (Lol), but EQ2 warned me when loggin in. Something about running Windows Vista SP or something.

PS - no idea what UAC is...

Ok, I knew that, just didn't know it as "UAC".

That said, isn't it a very bad thing to turn that off? Basically, I don't mind clicking the warning every once in a while, but every time I open certain applications (in this case EQ2 launchpad won't even open).

I'd like to know how to disable it just for those app's, if possible. Like I said before, I right clicked EQ2 and did "Run as admin", but that didn't fix it.

Any help appreciated.
