Default cleaning your PC

So whats the most effective way to clean a pc on the inside, I figured it was tine to do a serious one and not just take the dust from the fan.

Can I use a Air compressor to blow the dust away or would I harm something then?

I use an air compressor all the time and it has never done anything to my computer.

Air compressor isn't a problem as long as there isn't condensation built up inside.

You can also get a liquid cleaning solution at some mom and pop computer stores that will REALLY clean the PCB.
But eh, compressed air should be enough.

Next time leave the PC running and just use soap and water! Pay no mind to the sparks, that's the cleaning power at work ;)

One of my buddies ( who has numerous degrees in computing ) decided he didn't want to trek to Office Max for some air, and he used a vaccum cleaner.

Apparently, the keyboard still worked!

But everything else was toast.
