You'll definitely need to get more thermal paste if you are replacing the heatsink. A lot of heatsinks you buy come with some however(make sure). You just need to do a good job of cleaning the old stuff off of the CPU as it more or less gets baked on. Don't use any oil based cleaning agents or staticy implements. I think cotton-swabs should be safe and rubbing alcohol will just evaporate off once done.
As for the heatsink... I think you'll have to do the measuring yourself and find out. The one last posted for instance requires at least 4cm of clearance from the CPU outwards.
Someone needs to do a thorough cleaning of all there shit.
