Ending up going with the MSI GTX 280 Core Clock 650mhz and Memory Clock 2200mhz.

I will say one thing. The first time I saw my gpu temps, I ran out and bought an aftermarket cooler, and I will never buy/keep another card inside of a metal casket.

All the reviews i read on (Msi Card) and others say they run very cool under stock clocking.

find out what they have the fan speed locked to...i just put together a new system with an 8800 gt and found bfg had locked the fan speed to 29% which is why my card was running around 75 to 80 deg c under full load.

used rivatuner to make fan speed profiles now under full load it never goes over 61 deg c.

you might also want to go over to www.guru3d.com and check out there reviews on this card....they have 2 sofar with a single card and a sec review with sli and triple sli
