It's likely your drivers. The Omega Drivers are haxed to work with mobile chipsets (so you don't have to rely on your OEM's drivers). Grab the latest set.

okay, i downloaded the 64bit drivers, and it says its not compatible. however i have a 64bit os.

but what confuses me, is it says somethign liek 32(x86)...

my program files has a program files, and a programfiles (x86).

i hate vista, and dont know what this means. But my os is 64bit. this is retarded.

You might also want to run the directx diagnostic centre which can be found by opening Start menu then selecting run. In the box type dxdiag followed by return. This will then check all your files to confirm this is all ok. PLease note that once you've started it there is actually a button at the bottom which you have to press to check 64bit DirectX.

Take no notice of the Program files naming. This harks back to XP 64 and I think it is supposed to differentiate between the 2 types of programs that you have installed ie 32 and 64bit. Don't flame me if I'm incorrect on this score as I'm mainly stating that it is nothing to be concerned about. If however the file you have downloaded is saying it is 32(x86) then this is the wrong file as its the 32bit version. Try and download again or even try another location.

I would agree with Morara though at this point, it certainly looks to be GFX drivers. Doesn't take a second to run dxdiag though. Good luck.

have checked dxdiag, everything was fine.

have the 64bit version, and its giving me the error saying i have the wrong version. which would mean i need the 32bit, but i have a 64bit os?

Ok mate please try the following website, the latest drivers can be found in the upper right of screen. The drivers that you can download need to be slightly modified to work with mobile nvidia graphics cards but they are the official ones so give it a go.

The following link is the quick guide on how to do the mod but its very easy to do. All you need to do is download the drivers along with the modified ini file. Extract the drivers to your harddrive then overwrite the ini file within with the new one you have downloaded. Then simply install as normal. Hopefully this will get you up and running, fingers crossed for you.
