Hello i like many have 2 eq2 accounts. Until recently i've had no issues and have happily 2boxed my alts etc.

However NOW when i load my other account it now crashes or crashes the account running or vice versa. I contacted eq2 tech support who said they don't condemn two boxing accounts but don't support them

So my question is what steps could i take to get my other account working with my current one. Bear in mind it worked fine for months and i've not made any notable changes i don't believe.

Perhaps an update went wrong? or there's conflict issues? any help is appreciated.

well... as this is the tech section you might want to provide further details... were you boxing both on 1 pc or 2? which OS do you use

im pretty certain this does not apply to your situation, but there may be parallels:
when you log in with client_x and account_x to your regular server and then use the testclient on account_y on the same pc, one or both clients will eventually crash because different versions of eq2 on 1 pc obviously tend to not work together at all

Operating sysemt is Vista 32.. had no problems tbh.

I use the same pc and whilst having x 2 accounts i load from the same folder worked for 6months and then just stopped

Tried making a copy of your EQ2 directory and running both from separate locations? They may have patched something and required volatile access to a file that's causing them to crash when they both access it at once.
