hm... indeed its missing

another hint:
Quote:
"That is the process. Install any copy of XP with any product key and then ring microsoft to activate - you will then need to quote a non activated vista key and they will profide a activation key for the XP install."
its called downgrading

important: before you do that: gather all drivers you might need for XP before doing so because depending of the mainboard you choose, you might end up without networking drivers, so get em beforehand on a usb-stick or cdr

Uh...

Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

Newegg.com - Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops

Newegg.com - XFX GX260NADF9 GeForce GTX 260 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX 520W ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CUL, CE, CB, FCC Class B, TUV, CCC, C-tick - Power Supplies

680i is a terrible chipset unless you're running SLi, no need to go E8500 over E8400 when the E8400 can run 4ghz on air all day with the ram you picked out.

I hate OCZ so I'd go with Corsair for the extra 10 bucks.

8800GTS G92 is an old card that is getting blown away by newer cards... either go with the GTX260 or the 4850/4870 if you need to spend less.

Everything else looks fine.

Just the mobo/cpu swap to what I have listed here and adding the GTX260 is a way faster computer for basically the same money.

I'd also consider getting a P35/P45 board that can run crossfire and just get a 4850/4870 which should still be within your budget.
