If so then the answer is no, it's not that difficult.

Yes, want to consolidate registration, wasn't sure if they used the same encryption. Also, does it result in forum user timeouts?

What version of phpBB are you using? As with most things, results will vary based on version. ;)

Well, right now I'm using custom (forum) software that's not "robust" enough. My intention was to make the transition to 3.* if the integration is seamless. I don't want to require double-registration.
