Anyway back on topic, I always used Logitech and was generally very happy. The last mouse I bought however, was a Razer Diamondback and I have been very happy with its performance.

Coupled with a Razer Mantis Control pad it truly is the best mouse I have owned thus far.

This is also very true, I gave up trying to use em a long time ago.

My trackball has eight buttons that I use at least a little bit.

Of course I wouldn't have used them if I could not configure them to do things other than default.

I use the G7, had it for 2.5 years or so, best one I've owned by far..... good luck on trying to get hold of one new though. :P

The G5 is a good alternative from that though

I like my G5. I run it fully weighted and really should get me a mouse pad but eh it does the job now without one.

I use a mouse pad solely for a gel wrist rest. A few years back, dropping my wrist onto the desk was killing my hand.

I've been using a Razer Diamondback for 3 years. It's the best mouse I've ever had, and I've tried to find better several times.

Biggest disappointment was the Raptor M3. Horrible horrible mouse.

I'd happily recommend the Razer mice. The size, shape, accuracy and buttons are really top class.
