mouse advice..?
Up until recently, I have used a Logitech trackman. Loved the trackball style, especially for playing MMO's, but based on friends suggestions I decided to switch to a laser mouse and give it a try.
Ok so I'm currently using a cheap Rocketfish brand (best buy cheap crap) wireless 2.4G laser mouse, that I bought about 3 months ago. I got a cheap one because I didn't want to drop more than 20-30 bucks on a mouse until I knew I could adjust to.
While I have gotten used to using a laser mouse rather than the trackball style, I have issues with the Rocketfish one. It agrivates me to no end. Its to small, slips out of my hand, and I have tons of issues with the mouse pointer skipping randomly around the screen all the time.
I'm looking to "upgrade" to a better mouse and would like advise/suggestions from other eq players on what they use, and prefer, as well as why. I'd like to spend between 50-80 bucks, I don't have a big budget so can't get top of the line. It doesn't necessarily need to be a "gaming mouse" because I know a lot of the time thats just gimmick marketing b.s. Super high precision doesn't matter to me much because I usually turn down the sensitivity anyways so something with 4000 dpi is wasted on me. Some button customization is nice but not generally needed.
Anyways thanks in advance for reading this and offering your insight.

That one is hard to beat in your price range. I use it and its amazing.
TBH though it just sounds like you're not picky at all and want one that fits your hand. My best advice in that regard is to go shop for mice and get which one feels best to you that is made by a brand who isn't shitty ass Rocketfish. Like Razer, Logitech or Microsoft.

Re: mouse advice..?
I only use Logitech mice myself, and they have to be of the large size as the small ass ones just feel odd in a large hand. You need to grab something of decent size that's ergonomically designed for maximum comfort and usability.
I despise the one Gaige linked because the back of my palm would either drag on the mouse pad or my fingers would glide over the pad if I didn't have them bunched up on top of the buttons. It's just too small a mouse imo.
Here's mine, it may be hard to tell in the pic, but it's a standard sized mouse. Best Buy and Wal-Mart carry them in store last time I shopped at both places if you want to get a feel for one:

G-9 is awesomeness in a bawx!
I have ginormous hands, and have no problem using it.
You just can't go wrong with this mouse, it may take you a short while to acclimate to the different anatomy of this mouse, but once you do it's about the best one out there.

I love my Razer Copperhead...
I hate going to work, with the supposed microsoft ergonomic mice, they suck ass, and end up hurting my hand more than even a shitty old ps2 mouse from 1995.

Re: mouse advice..?
I like my Razer Copperhead, even if buttons 4 and 5 are useless in shape and size. It's accurate and comfortable, and it's lasted me 3 months, which is a hell of a lot longer than any Logitech or MS mouse lasts with my abuse.

Re: mouse advice..?
Geez, what the hell do you do to your mice? I think my second computer's trackball is like 8 years old.
