Whats this worth?

Just got a new PC and I want to put my old one on Craigslist for a local sale.(this thing weighs a metric fuckton) Im not sure how to price it.

Specs

Intel P4 @ 3.4
Gigabyte GA-965p-DQ6 mobo
650W Trio ATX12V SLI psu
GeForce 8800GTX 768
Soundblaster XFi Fatal1ty
3 gigs Ram
WD Caviar 500gb Sata HD
Windows xp
Thermaltake Armor Case

Runs Eq2,Vanguard,AoC,etc perfect.

I think one of the DVD drives is bad.
Im sure it will need some tlc from whoever buys it but its def a solid machine.

Fix the DVD drive, they're only like $20 and that'll be a major turnoff for a computer novice. Appearance is everything, depending on the condition & case I'd say you could get near a grand.

The GTX alone is what $400+

Some might say that card is worth 400 or whatever, but who would pay that when we have the newer generation cards out now (and will beat that card up) for less? It's no doubt a good card, and generally an ok system, but if I needed a pc, I personally wouldn't give more than 500 for it, considering theres better stuff out there and pretty cheap. I assume theres no moniter (tower only) included since you didn't list it.

tbh Id like to pull the hard drives as well.

I think it wold be a good deal at 500 for someone with a little pc knowledge, and possibly the spare parts needed.

As far as appearance, It looks great.It really has the "Gamer Rig" look.
And the tower is so big, you can sit IN this thing and work on it.

Prolly just list it at 600 and take 450-500. I mean, its 6 months away from being a boat anchor anyway.......

Also That P4 is piece of shit these days, actually it was never a good CPU. Slow single core won't cut it these days.

My experience with Craigslist is list high then sell at the price you really want. I would start at $950. Say shit like ultra cool customer gaming gig with $600 top of the line graphic card ect ect.
