What is it with people and Quad Core. Here's a clue - a 2.5ghz quad core is a piece of shit 2.5ghz cpu. 4 cores does not a decent gaming cpu make!

Get a dual core (E8400) 3ghz for the same money. It's faster, cooler and a far better deal for gaming.

Well I got a Quad core and then overclocked it to 3.0ghz. So theres a clue

just like you can overlcok the e8400 to 4ghz+

but anyway, you're probably still better off with quad core since more and more programs will be using it and the few hundred mhz won't make a noticeable difference.
