i just got a new laptop runing vista 64 bit i am having trouble DL updates, it will do a full file scan thne start to update, but it cancels automatilcly and i have to keep hiting the DL button, anyone know whats going on, thx

I just got a new laptop with 64bit Vista running on it and I am having trouble downloading updates. It will do a full file scan then it will start to update. After that though it cancels automatically and I have to keep hitting the download button. Anyone know whats going on? Thanks.

Hopefully now they do. Try turning off UAC.

when this is happening:

A) Close down EQ2 patcher and stuff.
B) Open up your Task manager.

There will be an Everquest2 proccess running visible from the task manager even though your have the apps closed... kill this proccess.

That should fix the auto-cancel download issue.

Thats what fixes it for me at least when it happens (Vista64)
