OK I was reading all the posts in this forum and I decided to try to jump on-board and embrace the inner geek that lies within me.

So with that in mind what are your top 5 applications that you couldn't live without, doesnt matter how small, just applications that you really appreciate.

1. VLC Media Player - VLC media player - Open Source Multimedia Framework and Player

Love this program, not sure when I started using it but its awesome. Tiny install and plays damm near everything.

2. SharePOD - SharePod

I hate ITunes with everyfibre of my being. I grrrrrrrrrr just it sucks balls ok, it really fucking does. SharePOD does everything I want to do and it doesnt annoy the piss out of me.

3. Opera - Opera Browser | Faster & safer Internet | Free Download

Yes everyone loves Firefox, but I love opera.

4. TVersity - TVersity - Home

I use this everyday, its free and it allows me to stream TV/Movies to the XBox 360. Awesome.

5. Photoshop - https://www.photoshop.com/

Great program that I would love to 'really' be proficient with, one of those programs that takes years to fully master and understand.

- windows commander ( Total Commander - home )... got renamed to "total commander", but whatever, its basically a windows version of volkov commander

thats the first thing i install on a fresh windows to never have to use the gd ugly explorer ever again

- foobar2000, i guess dont need to say more, prolly everyone knows this
