Default crashes at start up
My friend is having some trouble. they are playing the trial version... or they have it downloaded and when he clicks launch game from station launcher it goes black, music plays, the title screen comes up, mouse changes to the EQ2 mouse then the game crashes.

"Everquest II has encountered an Error and must close"

we've uninstalled and done fresh installs but nothing is working the same thing ever single time.

anybody have any ideas?

Try updating your Video drivers with the latest for the card you have from ATI's website, make sure you get the one that is certified.

We did that. for the Radeon 7000 series it's the 6.11 driver. downloaded and installed them and it did the same thing.
