New Monitor
My Syncmaster 213T just crapped out on me so I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions from New Egg or Zip Zoom Fly.
High res, 21"LCD is what Im looking for.

Re: New Monitor
I always buy Dell monitors.
Their return policy and 3 year standard warranty justifies the +$30 in my estimation. Hell, you can probably find a coupon somewhere and get it as cheap or cheaper than a comparable newegg/zipzoom monitor.
EDIT:
Also includes a webcam if you're into that type of thing.

And I was stuck with it due to Newegg's policy and the manufactures.
Samsung has a 0 dead pixel policy which I recommend now. Also, if Dell has the same pixel policy, I would suggest them also.

Re: New Monitor
Think Im going to scratch the LCD pref and go LED, didnt know they were only like 50 bucks more and look so much better.
Picked up a decent LG, 23" seems huge compared to the old 21". idk how you play on a 28", how far is your monitor from your face? 20'?
Anyway saw a sammy LED that was pretty hot but cant find it on newegg or zip(theyre all all Acer, Asus and Viewsonic) and its backordered for like 3 weeks.

Not sure the exact policy but my experience with Dell is that they will exchange anything, for any reason.

$50?
$480 for the 22" Viewsonic LED (1680x1050)
$249 for the 23" Dell LCD (2048x1152)
Half the price, bigger screen size, better resolution, built-in webcam, and 3 year warranty. What am I missing here?

Fixed. You aren't buying an LED based monitor, if you are, then you're looking at $2000 or so for a 17".
The main advantage of an LED Backlight is that it allows for truer blacks, the one thing that LCDs have/always will have a problem with.

I dont have any links cus they arent on those sites. They were both 23" samsungs 1920x1080, 2ms response, pretty much the same monitor in every way but one was LED. The LED may have been on sale, I honestly dont recall, picture was great though.

They have the same LCD screen, just different backlight which allows for a more truer black. Quit calling an LCD screen an LED, it's dumb. PS, I was wrong about pricing, 15" OLED, $3000.
